Pacific Poker Online Tournament Policy

Except as otherwise expressly stated in writing by PacificPoker.com, the following terms and conditions set forth the rules and procedures that govern all Player's rights in the event of disconnection and ability to use All-ins in PacificPoker tournaments:

  1. If for any reason a Player loses his/her connection, play will continue. Blinds and antes will continue to be posted automatically. A Player should log back on as soon as possible to continue play.
  2. Players will be blinded/anteed out of the tournament if they do not reconnect.
  3. Players MUST accept the risk of disconnection. If a Player is disconnected, he/she should simply log back on and continue play as quickly as possible. PacificPoker.com does not assume any responsibility for disconnected players, regardless of cause.
  4. If a Player is disconnected while a hand is being played, he/she will be deemed "all-in". In this case, the Player may win whatever is in the pot at the time of the disconnect.
  5. Players are allowed to use only two (2) all-ins due to disconnection in a Tournament from his/her available quota/limit (see clause 9), due to a disconnection problem.
In Pot limit and No limit tournaments a player is not entitled to all in protection due to disconnection.
  6. A Player may request an all-in reset by sending an email to tournaments@pacificpoker.com
  7. PacificPoker.com reserves the right to alter this policy and render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Policy changes and relevant decisions will be communicated via the PacificPoker.com website or by email.
  8. Our software is designed to detect whether a Player was genuinely disconnected before giving the all-in protection to him/her. If a Player tries to get all-in protection by simply not acting on his/her turn and waiting to get "timed out", he/she is deemed 'Folded'.
  9. PacificPoker.com strives to offer the best All-in protection to our Players. Our goal is to protect Players who are accidentally disconnected, while also maintaining appropriate checks so that the protection might not be misused.
  10. PacificPoker.com reserves the right to render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Decisions will be communicated accordingly via PacificPoker.com via electronic means (email).
    1. SINGLE TABLE TOURNAMENTS: If a Tournament is cancelled due to technical issues, any Player who was eliminated prior to this time will lose his/her buy-in and entry fee. The remaining Players will be refunded their buy-ins and entry fees and will equally divide the buy-in monies from the Players already eliminated, regardless of the chip standing when the tournament stopped.
    2. MULTI TABLE TOURNAMENTS: If a Tournament is cancelled due to technical issues, any Player who was eliminated prior to this time will lose his/her buy-in and entry fee. The remaining Players will be refunded their entry fees and will divide equally 100% of the remaining prize pool.
    3. All use of PacificPoker.com is further governed by the PacificPoker.com Terms & Conditions of Use.
